Writing can be an extremely powerful tool for managing your emotions and experiences. Are you a community care worker or a community connector with a story to tell about working during the COVID-19 pandemic? Did you experience something that you want to shine a light on? What’s it like visiting people’s homes to do your job during a lockdown? What have you seen, and how has it affected you?
Share your story below and it could be featured on our website and other platforms. Please don’t use any hate speech, nor reveal private information about other people in your story. If we are going to use your story, we will contact you first to let you know.
Dear community care hero, I am in awe of how brave you are. Especially if you have children at home. To me the scariest thing about this epidemic is the possibility that I might leave my children behind without a mother. If you are facing this fear, but still putting yourself at risk for others, thank you for showing us what humanity can aspire to be. With thanks and love.
